Be safe and join a driving school now. That was the slogan that caught

Be safe and join a driving school now. That was the slogan that caught my eye when I wandering through town with my girlfriend. There was a small booth with two middle aged men standing next to an old classic car from what seemed to be at least the 1960's. My girlfriend had been for quite some time on the hunt to join a driving school that was cheap and offered a quick service to get your license.

She literally pulled me by my ear and dragged me over to the booth and asked about if they could recommended a driving school that was located in the area or close by. The shorter one of the both gentleman turned his head and you could see from miles away how his eyes just lit up with an enthusiastic smile at the sight of young woman asking such a question. He quickly put down the silver coloured book that he was reading and walked around the booth and came within inches of our face. He pulled out a long blue brochure and started to give us a lecture about how there are so many young drivers that are on the road that have not had the proper training and how they are responsible for a large amount of accidents that occur each year on the roads worldwide. This gentleman was the best salesman I had ever come across, within about 5 minutes of speaking to my girlfriend he had already sold her on the idea of getting her to sign up for a driving school that was just around the corner from where she lived. Funnily enough it was owned by this same gentleman and he offered to give her the best training and support money could buy.

By the time we left the booth we had a dozen of brochures and leaflets stuffed in all of the empty pockets that we had on both our jeans and jacket. My girlfriend was so excited about this she didn't shut up about it for the entire journey home. She had already started to plan our summer holidays and how once she gets her own car we can drive down to Disneyland. Even though I knew she was getting slightly ahead of herself I kept quiet and shared her enthusiasm. I was glad for both us as this would mean I would no longer have to give her lift everywhere and I could save a fortune in petrol money.
