Since my driving was always safe, I decided to buy a moped and ride around for an added thrill. I looked up 'driving lessons uk', to find a qualified teacher to show me a safe way to ride in my moped. I always hated being talked down to by my teachers in school, so I was looking forward to a driving instructor who was more patient and understanding.

When I first saw the vehicle, I did not know what to think. It was so much smaller than my car, or even the motorcycle that I had once operated before. I was afraid that I would not know what to do with this small machine, and how fast it would end up going.

Although I was hesitant to wear a helmet when I first climbed onto my moped, my instructor assured me that was the only safe way to ride. I was scared at first, when I started to speed down the road. It was ok though, because my teacher was very patient and reassuring, and let me know that I was doing just fine. I found that riding this type of vehicle, was not only a lot more fun, but also more easy than driving in a car like I had previously been used to.

It was quite thrilling as we whizzed past the city traffic in the moped. I could feel the wind blowing through my jacket, and I could hear the sound of cars passing by. I loved every minute of my lesson, and I wished that I never had to go home. My instructor had to bring me back to reality by showing me the time on his watch, and I reluctently began to drive us back towards the driving school.

I would highly recommend this driving experience to anyone who is getting bored of the day to day commute in their regular automobile. It was such a rush to get on a new type of vehicle and to fulfill my need for speed. I will never forget that day, and I hope to someday go back and try it all over again.
