The waste skip hire van pulled by our house. I had sorted out what I no longer needed, which was pretty much everything and it was all now resting downstairs in various rooms.I was only a student so it was a cheap firm. Still they arrived on time and everything seemed to be running smoothly. I had an online test to do later which I was quite excited about.
I had been doing a psychology course online for the last six months so today was a big day for meHaving a test wasn't ideal on a day like today, but with it being an online test there was no real rush. I planned to do it in a few hours and that fit well into the time schedule. I must say I never quite enjoyed the idea of schools exams but online tests felt different to me.I knew that I was solely responsible for how well I did, which was a big incentive to me.
The course was pretty cheap too and I felt it motivated me more then the schools exams. That's not to say the online test would be any easier however. It's safe to say I worked harder in a home environment then a schools environment. I think there were less distractions and I know that this was costing me. It was cheap enough that's for sure, but I had come to appreciate how money adds up.My parents were happy for me to do it.
I think they felt it showed a good level of maturity and a desire to do well. It also pleased them that I was doing a subject that interested me. I think that was the deciding factor for me in hindsight.Once normality was resumed I went up stairs and studied. I never had a problem with focus or anything like that. I revised for two hours with the odd break here and there but I felt confident I knew the subject. So when the time was right I sat down, made sure there were no distractions and did it. I felt it went well. It was a pretty smooth ride.
